Hi all,
Pls use this thread to express your opinions of our performance in our wars.
Perhaps some ideas on what you think we could do to do better.
Perhaps some insight you've seen in our enemies approach that we could take advantage of.

Else bring some to the front-line, worst case we can throw it at them!!

Putting dragons inside our low / mid level clan castles may be a good idea, people try and go for the easy stars first, so may be a good way of drawing multiple battles out for not many stars. Higher bases are left for later pickings and better defended.
Simple ideas are to go for easier levels to make sure you get the three stars but a balance to ensure our lower members have a fair shout at contributing.

Clan size will become key, people will trim their clans if serious about war keeping only higher members so if we want a fair spread we may need to increase the clan size but keep active members. 35 is a fair battle size but 39 members keeps us with a broader spread and the lower member will be left out. Thoughts please!

Fill your clan castle before going in to a battle, I noticed on some replays we lost battles and didn't deploy a cc, in a couple it would have been the difference between a loss and a win, if you don't need them don't use them but you can't use them if you don't have them

Fill clan castle with dragons and archers, move ur TH(town hall) behind ur walls.

Also don't forget to DONATE* We help each other. United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

Trouble is its tough to coordinate soo many ppl to attack the power bases in a fashion that every lower lvl player gets a fair match.
There's definitely more stars to be had at lower & mid lvl bases. I wonder if we shud try 'hit nearest to 2-bases lower than your recommended'. That way it's a universal message to all, we'd more likely 2-3 star the enemies bases, and that way perhaps the top 5 lvl ppl cud wait for both attacks at just those guaranteeing a 3 star yield??

that sounds like a play Rocha, let our lower players hit first and see what they can get, try and let everyone take 1 battle. We will never get 100% turnout but no clan is but keeping active members is key. the only thing I would say is let hans go, he is our secret weapon.

The other thought I had was. A dragon & archer CC is great for defense but not so gd for attack.
Wondered whether we shud say that the top so many ppl will only have say archers - for attacker purposes but the rest (who'll hit lower than them) just have a dragon etc for defense needs.
Need to choose a cutoff point, top 5 or 7?!?! Not sure but makes sense as we'd hit last, hard & going for the remaining say 20-30 stars. Just top 5 cud yield as much as 30!

Remember the War Clan Castle is only for defences your normal castle is filled and used for war.
I would let people take what they think is best into war but putting dragons in our mid / low end bases may put the dampers on there early attacks on what they think would be easy targets. where CC are not big enough for dragons maybe wizards or high level archers.

I think our strategy on this would be to let the higher level members donate first to the War CC to ensure we are bolstering with the best defences.

If I know we are ready then I can brew dragons, I'm currently on level 2;s so will try and upgrade soon

I've just started cooking lvl 2 dragons but will do nxt lvl too once done.

I think dragons in the CC starting at the bottom going up as far as you, lower bases with 10 put high level archers. you and I could fill them quickly there are only about 5 / 6 , bases of 5 thinking 11 archers are a high level wizard. If we can get hans on board then it does mean we have to brew quite a few dragons.

If we said we will start preparation day tomorrow, about 7pm and reserve donations for dragons only to 9pm then ask the clan to fill the remaining. with the exceptions detailed above but ask only level 6 archers for these first 2 hours then I think we should good to go, I can have 10 dragons prepped.

Yeah could do. We cud create 10 dragons each, shud be enough.
You need to put out a clan message though, and remember theres about 9-10 hrs on nxt message.
After what you said too, id fill all possible bases up with dragons.
So if you, me & 1 other cook 10 dragons each, after dumping, we switch to archers to bk fill others? Don't forget we'll max out our donations tho.

Should the top 5 or so hang bk on both or just 2nd attack to cherry pick those 3 star bases?

One thought I had is we should allow the higher level members to donate level 6 troops (or highest level troops possible) in the war base clan castles for defenses. I know we are talking about donating dragons too so who has the highest level dragons available?

Donating any level troops is welcome during normal gameplay, but for wars it makes a huge difference to have say level 6 archers versus level 4. We should coordinate for wars to ensure the highest level troops are donated to cc's to maximize our firepower against our opponents for both defense and attacks (IMO of course).

Agreed Krusty, I think were just a little too keen in getting the dentations done, I think we have to stress we have 24 hours to prepare so let the dragons fill the bigger castles and then use only level 6 archers. You are correct it does make a big difference for defences.

It's trial & error. We'll get there.
